Nam seeks solace with a prostitute, Mimi, who becomes pregnant. San, initially furious, eventually accepts Mimi. As they find a fragile peace, a seaside trip turns tragic when Nam kills a robber and is imprisoned. San must now risk everything to secure Nam’s freedom.
